It’s a shame because the game starts pretty strong. However, the genre-blending is mainly surface level Legends doesn’t do any one thing well. In many ways, it resembles Pikmin, with moments of Dragon Quest Builders and StarCraft tossed in for good measure. Although you can draw a straight line to the games that inspired Minecraft Dungeons, Legends is a lot harder to define.
